SALUT I MEDI AMBIENT
OBJECTIUS

El Centre de Tecnologia Ambiental, Alimentària i Toxicològica (TecnATox) va néixer l’any 2008 fruit de la fusió de membres del  grup del Laboratori de Toxicologia i Salut Mediambiental (LTSM) i del grups d’Anàlisi i Gestió Ambiental (AGA, posteriorment AGACAPE) i Recerca en Neurocomportament i Salut  (NEUROLAB). Recentment, també s’hi ha unit el grup Models Matemàtics per a l’Enginyeria Ambiental i Biomèdica (MMEAB).  Tots quatre grups, de la Universitat Rovira i Virgili, són grups de recerca consolidats per l’Agència de Gestió d’Ajuts Universitaris i de Recerca (AGAUR).

L’objectiu de TecnATox és dur a terme recerca i desenvolupament en l’àmbit de la protecció ambiental i alimentària a nivell europeu, així com satisfer, des de la Universitat, les necessitats de l’administració i els sectors productius, mitjançant accions de coneixement i tecnologia. TecnATox proveeix als seus clients productes d’alta qualitat i rigor científic-tècnic.

TecnATox duu a terme les seves activitats d’investigació i desenvolupament en l’àmbit de la protecció del medi ambient i la salut humana, satisfent des de l’àmbit universitari les necessitats tecnològiques de diferents sectors productius i de l’administració mitjançant accions de desenvolupament i transferència de coneixement en els aspectes més nous de la gestió ambiental i la salut.
