El Grup de recerca en oncologia de cap i coll pretén avançar en el coneixement de les malalties tumorals d’aquesta àrea anatòmica que comprèn el coll, la  boca, la llengua, la faringe, la laringe, les fosses nasals i les glàndules salivals, ja sigui en l’àmbit molecular, translacional i clínic, així com de desenvolupament de tècniques i dispositius quirúrgics. La nostra visió és donar resposta a les qüestions que es plantegen quan estem davant dels pacients, per aquest motiu els metges que treballen a l’hospital treballen amb investigadors bàsics. La complexitat, la referència, la recerca i la docència són la base d’aquest grup de recerca.
