NEUROCIÈNCIES I SALUT MENTAL
OBJECTIUS

El grup NUTRISAM és un grup interdisciplinari que té com a objectiu la realització d’estudis epidemiològics en l’àmbit de la nutrició i la salut mental i investigar la relació dels factors nutricionals amb el neurodesenvolupament i els problemes psicològics en els primers anys de vida. El treball del grup inclou el desenvolupament d’estudis de cohorts en diferents grups de població al llarg de la vida (embarassades, lactants, nens en edat escolar, adolescents, etc.) i estudis d’intervenció.

  • Avaluació del consum d’aliments en diferents grups de població (embarassades, lactants, nens en edat escolar, adolescents).
  • L’estat nutricional i la seva relació amb la salut mental a través d’un enfocament multidisciplinari (i tenint en compte els determinants genètics de la població, sexe, activitat física, exposició a contaminants atmosfèrics i toxines de la llar, estrès, hàbits de son, tabac, alcohol i drogues). ús, infeccions i entorn socioeconòmic.
  • Estat nutricional i neurodesenvolupament: impacte dels factors hereditaris i ambientals en els trastorns del neurodesenvolupament.
  • Epidemiologia de la psicopatologia infantil i juvenil.
  • Programes d’intervenció en estil de vida per promoure la salut i el benestar mentals i prevenir les malalties mentals.
