L’Institut d’Investigació Sanitària Pere Virgili opens an international call for applications for a position in the statistical support platform.

The selected candidate will perform the following tasks:
- Advice on the statistical design of research protocols
- Statistical analysis with elaboration of tables/graphs and other elements derived from data analysis.
- Advanced data analysis of omics studies
- Support in the publication or dissemination of results. Support in the description of the methods used.
CANDIDATE PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS
We are seeking a highly skilled candidate for a bio-statistics position with the following qualifications:
- A degree in the field of Health Sciences.
- A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience in scientific data management and analysis.
- A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in omics analysis, specifically in single-cell and RNA sequencing.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English, with a minimum B2 level.
We appreciate your attention to detail and expertise in these areas.
IT WILL BE VALUED
- Proficiency in graphic and web design.
- Strong computer skills with a focus on bioinformatics.
- In-depth knowledge of natural language processing (NLP).
- Experience with international stays in the field of biomedicine.
- Previous experience working in basic research laboratories.
SELECTION PROCEDURE
- Selection of CV’s. Suitable and unsuitable CV’s will be identified according to the requirements. Applicants who do not meet the requirements indicated in the candidate profile and requirements will not pass to the next phase.
- Evaluation of the CV. Evaluation of the CVs up to a maximum score of 40 points.
- Cover Letter. Attach to the resume a cover letter with a maximum length of 2500 characters with spaces. With a maximum score of 20 points.
To access the interview phase it is necessary to have obtained a minimum score of 40 points in the sum of scores of the evaluation of the curriculum and cover letter
- Personal interview. With a maximum score of 40 points.
