La finalitat de continuar donant suport a projectes de recerca clínica que es desenvolupin en les següents cinc àrees: “Oncologia”, centrada en immunoteràpia i càncer; “Trasplantaments”, centrada en immunotolerància, òrgans bioartificials i preservació d’òrgans; “Traumatologia i les seves seqüeles”, tant traumatològiques com neurològiques; “Malalties rares”, limitades a les quals es manifesten clínicament durant la infància i “Salut mental”, centrada en trastorns infantojuvenils.
