ADDRESSING KNOWLEDGE GAPS IN APLASTIC ANEMIA 2022.

Topic: Hematology.

Destination: Projects that will be considered for support will focus on improving the care of patients by addressing knowledge gaps in following areas:

  • early identification and diagnosis of aplastic anemia (AA) patients
  • awareness of AA in order to faster refer patients to higher clinical centers of reference
  • current standards for the treatment of AA and its complications
  • clinical management of special patient subpopulations and difficult cases of AA patients

Projects evaluating the efficacy of therapeutic or diagnostic agents will not be considered.

Budget: $500,000 USD (up to $100,000/project)

Duration: Up to 2 years.
