IISPV is a member of AIISEM

Through the call by lataformas Instituto de Salud Carlos III de suport a la I+D+i , the IISPV is part of the AIISEM (Alliance for Innovation and Health Industrialization of the Mediterranean Axis).
This integrated multicentre unit is the result of an agreement between the centres: IDIBELL, IISPV, IDIAPjGol, IIS La Fe, INCLIVA, FISABIO, ISABIAL, IMIB and IdISBa. The motivation is to take advantage of the opportunities offered by an alliance of 9 research centres, of which 6 are accredited by the ISCIII, which cover the entire area of the East and the Balearic Islands. Of these 9 entities that make up the platform, four have been funded in the PT20 call (IIS La FE, FISABIO, IDIAPJGol and IDIBELL).

The main objective is the marketing, transfer and implementation in the National Health Services of the knowledge developed in the different centers that make up the AIISEM. This is why we want to:

– Encourage collaboration with industry
– Create a common portfolio of innovative technologies and services
– Improve the transfer/implementation of technologies in the NHS
– Improve the training and innovation resources especially of partners with fewer resources
– Improving the coordination and complementarity of the respective innovation units AISEEM is integrated as one of the nodes of ITEMAS, the Platform for dynamization and innovation of the industrial capacities of the NHS and its effective transfer to the productive sector.

ITEMAS is an ISCIII support platform of R & D & I in Biomedicine and Health Sciences with the main objective of effectively boosting the industrial capacity generated from the NHS and the real transfer of the results of the research carried out within the SNS in the productive fabric.

The integration of the IISPV into AIISEM and its participation in the Strategic Commission and Technical Commission will allow our institution to collaborate more closely with industry both nationally and internationally and create links with other health research institutions.
