Dos webinars para descubrir cómo el microbioma y el cerebro materno influyen en nuestra salud
En los próximos meses, la comunidad científica interesada en la investigación biomédica y en las bases moleculares de la patología tendrá la oportunidad de asistir a dos sesiones virtuales de alto nivel, impartidas por expertos reconocidos en sus respectivos campos.
Este jueves 22 de enero a las 16 h, el Dr. Carlos Castaño, investigador posdoctoral, participará en el ciclo CIBEROBN Webinars 2026 con una ponencia centrada en un tema emergente en el ámbito de la interacción huésped–microbioma. Su charla, titulada “Isolation and Characterization of Circulating Bacterial Extracellular Vesicles: A Novel Approach to Understanding Host–Microbiome Interactions in Obesity”, abordará cómo las vesículas extracelulares bacterianas presentes en la circulación pueden ofrecer nuevas herramientas para comprender los mecanismos moleculares que relacionan el microbioma con la obesidad. Este enfoque innovador abre la puerta a nuevas líneas de investigación y a posibles aplicaciones diagnósticas o terapéuticas.
Posteriormente, el 16 de febrero a las 16 h, el grupo de la SEBBM “Bases Moleculares de la Patología”, coordinado por la Dra. Sonia Fernández‑Veledo, organizará un nuevo seminario web dedicado a la neurobiología del comportamiento alimentario. La investigadora Roberta Haddad‑Tovolli (IDIBAPS) impartirá la conferencia “Neuronal circuits underlying appetitive behaviors in the maternal brain and the programming of offspring health”.
