🩺 Why is it important to talk about hepatocellular carcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma today?

Liver and bile duct cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma) represents a growing public health burden worldwide. These are rare but increasingly common tumors, with high mortality rates, often diagnosed in advanced stages, which makes treatment more challenging.

In recent years, however, there have been significant advances in treatment, especially with the arrival of immunotherapy and new systemic combinations.

📅 The Update Conference on Supramesocolic Digestive Cancer, taking place on October 9, 2025 at the Sant Joan University Hospital in Reus, aims to update healthcare professionals on the current therapeutic options for these tumors.
