🎗️ Gynecologic cancer is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in women.

Endometrial cancer is the most common malignant neoplasm among gynecologic tumors, while ovarian cancer is the leading cause of death from gynecologic cancer. Meanwhile, cervical cancer is the third most frequent tumor worldwide and the only one of the three with a screening program, which has helped reduce its incidence and mortality by up to 80%.

🧬 Although we are dealing with three independent tumors, each with different biological characteristics and prognoses, all of them have gained visibility in recent years.

Thanks to clinical research, multiple new drugs have been introduced, allowing for a significant increase in progression-free survival, and in some cases, even overall survival for these patients.

📈 In recent years, we are witnessing a revolution in the field of gynecologic tumors, making continuous study and updates essential for our specialty.
