Gynecologic cancer is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in women.
Endometrial cancer is the most common malignant neoplasm among gynecologic tumors, while ovarian cancer is the leading cause of death from gynecologic cancer. Cervical cancer, meanwhile, ranks third in global frequency and is the only one of the three with a screening program, which has helped reduce its incidence and mortality by up to 80%.
Although these are three distinct tumors with different biological characteristics and prognoses, they have all gained increased visibility in recent years.
Thanks to clinical research, numerous drugs have been introduced that have significantly improved progression-free survival—and in some cases, even overall survival—for these patients.
In recent years, we have witnessed a revolution in the field of gynecologic tumors, making continuous updates and study essential for our specialty.
To share all these developments, we present the Update Conference on Gynecologic Cancer, where we will summarize the latest advances that have helped improve the life prospects of our patients.
