The lnstitut d’Investigaci\u00f3 Sanit\u00e0ria Pere Virgili (IISPV) will be the beneficiary of the Premis Gaud\u00ed Gresol a la Notorietat i l\u2019Excel\u00b7l\u00e8ncia<\/a><\/strong> this year 2025, coinciding with 20 years of work in the field of biomedical research. The competition, which celebrates its 18th edition this year, will award the prizes on June 12 (7 p.m.) at the Gaud\u00ed auditorium of the firaReus complex.<\/p>\n\n

The awards presentation ceremony, held on Wednesday, June 4 at the Ajuntament de Reus, was attended by the president of the Gresol Foundation, Emili Correig, the mayor of Reus, Sandra Guaita, the councilman of Empresa, Formaci\u00f3 i Ocupaci\u00f3, \u00d2scar Subirats and the general director of the Gresol Foundation, Robert Moragues.<\/p>\n\n

The awards highlight the professional and personal careers, merits, worth and dedication of renowned entities and personalities, both in Catalonia and throughout Spain. The winners in this 18th edition are: in the category of Business Leadership, PortAventura World; in Technology, Andreu Ve\u00e0; in Architecture, Ramon Espel; in Environment, Grupo Meli\u00e1; in Innovation, Andreu Rodr\u00edguez; in Gastronomy, Fran L\u00f3pez; in Social Action, LaLiga Genuine; in Television, Olalla Moreno; in Fine Arts, Lorenzo Caprile; and, in Sports, Jordi Cervera.<\/p>\n\n

Among the winners in past editions, there are personalities such as Pau Gasol, Valent\u00ed Fuster, Luis del Olmo, Ferran Adri\u00e0, Juan A. Samaranch, Isidre Fain\u00e9, Carles Sent\u00eds, Eduard Punset, Antoni Brufau, Merc\u00e8 Sampietro, Joan Roca, Carme Ruscalleda, Anna Ferrer, Maribel Verd\u00fa, Elena Arzak, Josep M. Pou, Marc M\u00e1rquez, Jordi Cruz, Gemma Mengual, Joan Pera, Manel Fuentes, Josep M. Mainat, M. De la Pau Janer, Mar\u00eda Blasco, Jordi Bast\u00e9, Marina Rossell, Tricicle, Susanna Griso or Juan Carlos Unzu\u00e9 among others.<\/p>\n\n
