The Pere Virgili Health Research Institute (IISPV) participated once again in the Research Visits promoted by the La Marat\u00f3 3cat Foundation, with the aim of explaining to the public how the research projects funded through this solidarity program are developed. Throughout the day, about seventy people took part in the various workshops held at the Pavell\u00f3 dels Distingits of the Institut Pere Mata. The realization of this activity required the involvement of twenty researchers from IISPV \u2013 Institut Pere Mata, who conducted the workshops in three different sessions throughout the day (two in the morning and one in the afternoon).<\/p>\n\n

L\u2019activitat va servir per explicar a la ciutadania dos projectes de recerca en salut mental que l\u2019IISPV t\u00e9 actius actualment i que han rebut finan\u00e7ament a trav\u00e9s de la Marat\u00f3 3cat. Es tracta del projecte \u201cXarxes de coexpressi\u00f3 utilitzant DDR1 com a gen llavor en sang i en cervell en el trastorn bipolar. Identificaci\u00f3 de nous biomarcadors\u201d, coordinat per Elisabet Vilella, subdirectora de l\u2019IISPV i directora de l\u2019\u00c0rea de Recerca de l\u2019HUIPM; i del projecte \u201cUn enfocament integrador de la predicci\u00f3 del risc d’esquizofr\u00e8nia aprofitant la gen\u00e8tica, la imatge cerebral i el transcriptoma del neuroepiteli olfactiu\u201d, de Gerard Muntan\u00e9, investigador del Grup de Recerca en Gen\u00e8tica i Ambient en Psiquiatria (GAP) de l\u2019IISPV.<\/p>\n\n
